Who can post essays as a seller?
Only people who have a valid student or alumni school e-mail account can post their essay content.
I was accepted to multiple schools, can I post my essays for all of the schools that I was accepted?
You can only post essays for schools that you graduated from or are currently enrolled. If you graduated from multiple schools (i.e., Columbia University for undergrad and Stanford for your MBA) you can post both sets of essays, provided that you have valid alumni email accounts for both schools.
Why am I assigned an ID number?
Buyer and sellers are given unique ID numbers upon registration. This helps to assure the anonymity of the parties (buyers and sellers).
Can I edit my essay prior to posting and remove personal data such as the company I worked for, specific names, etc?
Yes, you can feel free to take out/edit such information. For example, rather than stating a specific company name you could write [MAJOR TECH COMPANY].
Can I share the essays that I purchase with my friends?

How do I make money from Essay Match?
Unlike other sites, Essay Match does not own the seller's content. Rather, we provide a medium where a seller can interact with a buyer to distribute content. A seller earns income every time their essay is purchased.
Can I copy the essays that I purchase from the Essay Match website?
The essays found on this site are to be used for informational purposes only. It is considered plagiarism if you copy and submit all or part of an essay as your original work. You may risk being denied admission, possible expulsion or other consequences if caught.
Can I change/edit my essays once they have been submitted?
A seller can not change their essays once they have been submitted, since we need to make sure that the essays that are purchased are always the same. For example, say someone sold an essay 25 times and then decided to change it completely. This would be misleading to new buyers who thought they were buying something totally different. If you are not happy with an essay that you posted, you can make it “inactive” and will not be visible to the public.
How much will I get paid for each essay?
The percentage payout is 80%. So, if you price an essay at $20 you will receive 80% of that (i.e., $16) every time someone purchases your essay.
I am a seller. Through what methods can I get paid?
There are two ways to get paid: PayPal or check (currently only available to US addresses).
